Corner desks add a return to the main worktop, giving one person a good deal more working space than a straight desk on the same patch of floor. They suit anyone in an Irish office who works across paperwork, drawings or an extra screen. Our corner desks come from the Impulse range with three leg types to choose from.
The return gives you a place for work that is not directly in front of you, such as reference files, samples or a second monitor. If you mostly use a laptop and one screen, a straight desk will usually sit better in the room.
Each corner desk is made in a left hand and a right hand version. The one you need depends on which side the return runs along your wall, and turning the desk round will not correct the wrong choice. Mark each position on a floor plan first, and double check the numbers when an order mixes both.
Legs come in three styles: cantilever, panel end and cable managed. Corner desks do not pack together the way rectangles do, so a dense open plan floor will seat more people with straight desks or bench desking. For a curved front edge instead, see our crescent desks.
