Our acoustic wall tiles are sold in sets of four as part of the SCH! range, and you can group them into one block or spread them out in a pattern. Each tile soaks up sound while also decorating the wall, which suits Irish meeting rooms and offices where acoustic treatment should look deliberate.
With tiles, you choose the pattern rather than hanging a single large panel. Spreading them out covers more of the wall from the same set and looks like a design decision. Grouping them in a block puts more absorption in one spot, which helps with a specific problem such as a wall that faces a glass partition.
One set of four will not change a room much on its own. Total absorbing area is what counts, and in a meeting room full of hard surfaces you will usually want a fair share of one or two walls covered. Getting one room right is worth more than dotting a handful of tiles around three.
Tiles on the walls work best alongside ceiling baffles above and hanging acoustics in the space between. You will find all three in the SCH! Acoustic Collection, and we are happy to help plan coverage on 01 816 6600.
