Mawsley modular seating is a soft seating system with dedicated 90 degree back units and inner units, so corners meet cleanly instead of leaving gaps. It is designed for larger open spaces in Irish offices, where seating needs to follow walls, wrap around corners and give shape to the layout of a room.
Why the corner matters
Many modular ranges look fine in a straight line and awkward at a turn. Put two straight sections together at right angles and you get an open triangle on the inside of the turn and a section jutting out on the outside. Mawsley's dedicated corner pieces close both sides neatly, which is the main reason to pick it over a general modular range.
Where it works best
Mawsley comes into its own in bigger spaces where seating does more than provide somewhere to sit: zoning off a breakout area, shielding a corridor or forming an island in an open floor. For one corner or a compact reception, sofas and armchairs will be the simpler option.

Sketch the run, mark each change of direction and count the corner units before anything else, as these are the pieces most often under-ordered.
