Why contract seating matters
A sofa for the home is made with two people and a few evening hours in mind. In an office the same seat might see dozens of people a day, plus regular cleaning. Contract frames and fabrics are made for that workload, and you notice the difference over time: home furniture soon loses its shape under that kind of use.
Reception or breakout
At reception, looks matter most, because every visitor notices the seating even if few use it for long. In a breakout area, durability comes first, since the seats are used hard and inspected less. If the space is bigger than a single corner, modular seating will usually fill it better than several separate sofas.
