A single sit-stand desk is the straightforward option: one person, one frame and full control over their own height. It also suits individual positions around the edge of a room. For a team, back-to-back sit-stand desks place two facing rows on a shared frame, which uses less floor per person and is much simpler to power.
Why we stick to electric
If raising a desk feels like a chore, people stop doing it. Wind-up crank models tend to become fixed desks within a couple of weeks, so every model in this range uses an electric motor instead.
Two accessories worth adding
- A flexible cable spine: cabling that looks neat when seated can pull tight as the desk rises and drag plugs loose. Each Air desk has a matching spine that extends and retracts with the frame, so order it at the same time.
- An anti-fatigue mat: long spells standing on a hard floor bring their own aches. You will find mats among our ergonomic accessories.
Plan the cable route before the desks arrive, so the spine can go on at the same time as the frame.
