Impulse storage is the matching storage family for Impulse desking, covering pedestals, cupboards, bookcases and the shelves and handles that go with them. It suits Irish offices that want desks and storage specified from one range, so the finish and proportions carry through the whole room.
Why a matching finish matters
You mostly look down at a desk, so a small difference in finish can go unnoticed. Storage is different: it lines the wall at eye height, so a near miss in colour is easy to spot. If your office already uses Impulse desking, storage from the same family avoids that problem entirely.
What the range includes
- Pedestals: fixed and mobile units that sit under the desk. Compare them with our wider pedestals and drawers.
- Cupboards and bookcases: wall storage for files, folders and reference material.
- Shelves and handles: components for adding capacity or replacing parts, also found under shelving.
Heights are planned against the desking, so a line of storage sits level with the desks beside it instead of standing a little taller or shorter. That keeps the whole room looking deliberate.
When steel is the better choice
Laminate looks right in an office but will not cope with the knocks of a workshop, school or busy corridor. Where toughness matters more than a matched finish, steel storage, including the Qube range, is the stronger option. For help planning a full Impulse layout, call 01 816 6600.
